He has been a location independent entrepreneur since 2006, having lived in Tokyo, Berlin, London and a few spots in South East Asia while running his business successfully online. He will give insights on how he created and developed his highly dynamic, popular blogs, and how he is able to communicate with his writers and collaborators around the globe.
Kyoko Bowskill – The Online Store Specialist
Kyoko started her company Link Collective in 2011, working with artists and designers all over the world who design her modern style furoshiki cloth. While selling through various events and markets, her main sales volume is through etsy.com, one of the largest online worldwide marketplaces for creative individuals.
Jodie Lightfoot – Growth Catalyst and Brand Strategist
Jodie moved from Vancouver to Japan and started her own digital marketing agency, Lightfooted Strategies, picking up a wide range of global clients from within her network, such as tech startup Shortlist.co; a luxury beauty brand from Switzerland; local non-profit Mirai no Mori and the Jewish Chabad House of Japan, and global management consultancy giant Accenture where she coordinated APAC-wide internal communications for 500+ Utilities professionals.
