Results of the FEW Community Survey 2017 conducted in the summer have been released. This survey, which was sent to FEW members as well as the wider FEW community, was designed primarily to determine overall satisfaction level among current FEW members and wider community so as to ensure FEW is accomplishing its organizational mission and vision.
Of the 158 members sent the survey invitations, 42 completed the survey, resulting in a member response rate of 26.5%. The survey invitation was also sent to the wider FEW community, resulting in a total of 90 responses, of which 47% were members. 22 countries were represented, across 26 professions, with ages ranging from 20s to 60s.
Respondents provided feedback on meeting and event topics and flow, reasons for joining FEW, professional and personal needs and goals, and awareness of member benefits, including strategic partners and community service activities. Survey data provides the FEW Board of Directors with valuable insights that are used to help improve FEW events and services as well as new ideas for content and ways to provide members with resources, and helps shape member personas on which to base other activities.
Full results of the survey, identified member personas and priorities for the 2017-2018 FEW year can be viewed here.
