Game Changers: New Opportunities and Challenges in the Digital Transformation
May 20th @ 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM (JST)
Are you a digital game changer? If not now, then when?
In May, the FEW monthly meeting will welcome special guest Noriko Rzonca, a financial industry expert, influencer and leader in data science-driven digital transformation (DX).
As Japan races full speed ahead to promote DX, an imperative across all industries especially in the COVID-19 new normal, it faces various challenges. Not only does DX go completely against traditional Japanese corporate culture and conventional business models, it also highlights the inefficiencies in the way many people, including women, work.
In order to move DX forward, not only do corporations need to thoroughly reevaluate their current business challenges and practices and set concrete strategic directions to overcome them, it is also vital for women in business to move beyond a tendency to make ‘best efforts’ and find ways to incorporate a greater degree of productive technology into their daily working lives.
Noriko says that the first step to DX in Japan is accepting Japan’s past and traditional approaches. Drawing on her wide-ranging experience in the financial services and insurance industries and her commitment to strategic business planning and execution from an integrated marketing and data science perspective, she will provide us with insights on where Japan is in its DX journey, how companies in different industries are engaging employees in the process, and what members of the FEW community can do to contribute to DX. Or perhaps even make DX a career.
If you’re interested in learning more about the bigger picture of DX in Japan, how you personally can help drive DX forward or simply want to enjoy meeting people for a chat, please join the event.
We look forward to seeing you in May.
The event is from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. After the event we will continue with half an hour of social networking. This is not mandatory and for those participants who would like to get to know other members or talk to the host.
