Tracey Northcott of Enfour, Tokyo Family Stays and Tracey Northcott Consulting, is a serial entrepreneur and multi-preneur based in Tokyo, Japan.
She is one of the most successful Short Term Rental (STR) and AirBnB hosts in Tokyo. She also runs Software development company Enfour with her family as well as Tracey Northcott Consulting where she helps other hosts discover the true potential of their STR or AirBnb business maximizing their investment, enjoyment and hospitality standards.

On February 12th, we gathered online for an inspiring Member's Meeting with Tracey Northcott, a businesswoman whose journey in Japan truly embodies the Japanese proverb nanakorobi yaoki 七転び八起き, fall seven times, stand up eight.
Tracey shared with 21 of our members some of the real challenges and breakthroughs she had while building multiple businesses in Tokyo. From tech entrepreneurship, balancing hospitality, and family life while navigating communication crises, shifting regulations, and economic disruptions, her story reminded us that resilience isn't about never falling. It’s about taking one small step forward when you do. For her, resilience means adaptation, boundaries clarity and self trust. Her story, and what resilience means to our members sparked interesting discussions in the breakout rooms.
We are so grateful to Tracey for sharing her vulnerability and truth with us. And we are grateful to our community for holding space and sharing their own stories.
The truth is, we all fall, but with self-belief, good friends and a supportive community we can stand up and move forwards again.
