Strategic Partner Spotlight: Tia Haygood, TopTia Photography

Happy 2018!
That’s two years from when communication coach, Helen Iwata, hired me as a photographer to cover her presentation at For Empowering Women Japan. At the time, I was four months into preparing and registering my business, TopTia Photography. Initially, my goal was to primarily work with Japanese businesses to bridge a communication gap between restaurateurs and international customers, through my photography. But on that day, Thursday November 12th, 2015, I was introduced to a wonderful group of women who taught me so much about the international community and the amazing support the women in that community have for each other.
TopTia Photography works towards providing a visual catalyst to improve branding power to clients both Japanese and international. Whether at your office, outdoors, or at my Ginza studio, TopTia photographs portraits, events, product and food items to help businesses present themselves with pride to their audiences. From updating LinkedIn profile photos to creating the visuals for a new website, TopTia takes care of those needs smoothly.
FEW Japan has allowed TopTia to grow faster than many independent photographers do. Of the almost 200 photo sessions so far, many of the businesses I’ve worked with have actually been members of FEW.
I have such a deep appreciation for the FEW community and all they have done to help me support other women in Japan and I am honored to return the favor as a FEW Strategic Partner.
