January 10th @ 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM (JST)

FEW Japan Spotlight on Men’s Leadership for Change: Featuring Terrence Holden

For our FEW Japan annual theme, in 2021 we continue to celebrate and deepen our idea of “Re-imagining Community”. In past years we have always welcomed men to our flagship events, such as at our International Women’s Day event held last March 2019, at our celebratory Bonenkai Dance Party in December 2019, and at our pre-COVID (last in-person) meeting on Innovation through Diversity held in February 2020 at the Canadian Embassy.

To further expand our circles of community-building with equality-seeking men, we kick off our 2021 New Year event featuring an inspiring advocate for change who we see as a role model for multicultural boys and girls, men and women living in Japan.

We are pleased to welcome Terrence Holden, to speak to us about his role as Host and Producer of Tokyo Speaks podcast and his active commitment to ensuring diverse representation and inclusion of multicultural men and women in Japan. Following Terrence’s presentation and Q&A, we look forward to a broader discussion with participants on how we can be the change in our volunteer roles, in our workplaces, in our communities, and in our families to foster greater inclusion and respect for diversity in Japan.

Bring your coffee, tea and brunch nibblies for this Sunday morning event from 10:00am-11:30am. Other family members are most welcome to join you and listen in.
