How I Got Here: Megumi Moss

I realized there was a major childcare shortage in Japan when I was trying to have a child while working at Sony. After learning about US babysitting services from my husband, I decided I needed to leave the corporate world and start something similar in Japan. Soon after, I founded CareFinder.
I didn’t know many people outside of Sony and wanted to build my network so, at the urging of a friend, I decided to join FEW. FEW has been inspirational for me. Meeting very motivated women has helped me to tap into my own motivation. Without FEW, I would not have been able to take CareFinder to where it is today.
I was so inspired to contribute to the FEW community, that I joined the FEW board for a couple of years. It was a very enriching experience. I stepped down from the board to focus on CareFinder, but I look forward to being a long-term member of FEW and helping the community flourish.
