Strategic Partner Spotlight: Find Your Element Workshop Founder Aya McCrindle

I was born to a half American, half Japanese mom and a Japanese dad, raised in Tokyo.  When I was 27, I bought a model agency with my 2 sisters and another model in order to quit modeling. During this time, I increased the number of models from 4 to 50. I also expanded the existing client list from 50 to 5,000. Due to the shift in my priorities, however, I no longer felt fulfilled in the modeling industry. So, I started Find Your Element (FYE) Workshop 8 months after my divorce, just a few years after retiring from model management. I’m so lucky to have discovered my own element as a Connector and can share what all I’ve learned from rocket booster friends who are top experts in various fields!

Our FYE community consists of curious, open-minded, motivated individuals who are ready to acquire important life lessons that are not taught in school and most often, not even at home, to be extraordinary. We are committed to making your journey of life absolutely unforgettable and insanely exciting, to live out your Element! We are here to support and cheer you on, to hold space for you without judgment, so you can find your own Element and shine!

Who would you name as your personal role model and why?

Mother Teresa. She knew that her mission was to help others and she did it so well-selflessly, tirelessly, inspirationally and successfully! She was so “rich” in exactly the ways I’d love to be – she could raise lots of money to help the needy, without needing much for herself. She is such an empowering inspiration! I also love that she only died with a pair of slippers and a robe too, while having given so much during her lifetime.

What is your personal advice for staying motivated/ positive when facing a challenge?

I read a lot of inspiring books, attend many motivating, nourishing workshops, make intentional decisions to go out and have fun, and see rocket booster friends. I also make a conscious effort not to spend time with energy-sucking things or people.

Where do you see the biggest challenge in running your own business?

Finding partners/individuals who see the multiple benefits AND the necessity of FYE in our community.
